FFWD: Spicy Vietnamese Chicken Noodle Soup
Thanksgiving weekend was spent at home, with the benefits of a lovely kitchen, room to breathe and the company of my dear family. I made this week’s recipe, Spicy Vietnamese Chicken Noodle Soup, on Saturday so that I could share it with them. It was great to be able to make a whole recipe and have people to eat it with and to get more opinions! This soup was definitely different and we all enjoyed the interesting and new flavours. My sister said it tasted "like real food", which I enjoyed! I am loving this group and can’t wait for the Hachis Parmentier next week!

ReplyDeleteHaha. Love that your sister said it tasted "like real food". Your picture looks wonderfully inviting. I'd like a bowl right now please :) I didn't get a chance to make this soup but after seeing yours, I'll have to try it soon. Nicely done!!!

How funny. My nephew called it 'real food' too. I wonder what he thinks I usually make?

I am so excited for the hachis parmentier too! Nice picture of the soup.
ReplyDeleteYour soup looks wonderful and the cilantro really sets it off. Poor you stuck in a dorm! I remember those days--I would go into a mad baking frenzy whenever I encountered a real kitchen!
